Peacock Vacuum Bottle Co., Ltd. installed water dispensers at the Osaka Kansai Expo site as part of the "Osaka My Bottle Partners Volunteer Team for Installing Water Dispensers at the Expo Site." In the two and a half months since the opening, the number of uses has reached approximately 450,000, and people are noticeably carrying their own bottles around the site. Even with the use of personal bottles, which has not been widely adopted in Japan, the installation of water dispensers has proven to have resulted in behavioral change, demonstrating the importance of infrastructure development.
