What is the award-winning "Home Izakaya Series"?

During the long period of self-restraint due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the casual and relaxed style of drinking at home has become the new normal, and the value of drinking at home has shifted from "drinking cheaply" to "drinking with care." Peacock Vacuum Bottle Industry, which has been pursuing thermos technology for many years, has developed a sake set series that focuses on temperature and design to make home drinking even more delicious and enjoyable. Simply changing the sake set can make your usual evening drink taste much better. This lineup was created to help you enjoy the "home izakaya."

Comments from the Good Design Award judges

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, people have been spending more time enjoying alcohol at home, so it's interesting that they've applied the double-walled vacuum technology they've developed over many years of manufacturing stainless steel bottles to create a series of sake vessels for use around the home. While each vessel is individually designed to accommodate the intended beverage, each one features a simple, no-frills design, ultimately ensuring a sense of unity across the series. If they could refine the label and packaging to match the product better, the finished product would be even better. We look forward to seeing what they do next.
