Short pasta bolognese

Ingredients for 4 servings

  • Short pasta (Fusilli) 250g
  • 300g minced meat (mixed)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 stick of celery
  • 1/3 carrot
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • [A]
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon sugar
    • A pinch of black pepper
    • A pinch of nutmeg
  • [ B ]
    • 1 can of chopped tomatoes (400g)
    • 400ml water
    • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered cheese (as needed)

How to make it

    Mix [A] with the minced meat and season. Roughly chop the onion and celery stalk, finely chop the garlic, and julienne the carrot. (*Chop the celery leaves into appropriate amounts and set aside.)

    Place the vegetables cut in (1) on a plate set to 180°C, drizzle with olive oil and fry.

    Once the meat has softened, add the minced meat from (1) and stir fry, leaving some chunks intact.

    When the ground meat starts to change color, add [B] and the short pasta, mix lightly, cover and heat according to the pasta boiling time indicated on the label. (*Mix the whole once halfway through.)

    Keep it warm and steam for about 3 minutes, then add the powdered cheese and mix well, then top with celery leaves (as desired).
